Why No Gluten-Free Bagels?
We understand that the demand for gluten-free bagels is rising and we would love to be able to offer a gluten-free option. Unfortunately as our sourdough bagels are made daily in-house, there is gluten in the air throughout our shop. There is no way that we can safely make or serve a completely gluten-free bagel - even if we were to purchase from someone else. As a result, we strongly recommend that anyone with a severe gluten allergy refrain from visiting us (although we will miss having you!)
It's very important to us that all of our bagels are made freshly by us. And at our heart, we are and will continue to be a bagel shop. We may offer other options in the future but our current focus is on making a really great bagel with all of the spreads and sandwiches that accompany them. Thank you for your understanding!
